As part of the program’s “Can I Afford It” segment, Jazzercise trainee Anna Swartz from Albuquerque asked financial advisor Suze Orman if she could afford a Jazzercise franchise taking into consideration her personal financial status and the $1,000 franchise fee. Suze gave her a stamp of approval to move forward with becoming a franchisee.

World’s Leading Dance Fitness Program Posts its Seventh Consecutive ‘Best Year Ever’
CARLSBAD, CA (September 17, 2008) —Jazzercise, the world’s leading dance fitness program, posted its most successful year in the company’s 39-year history. System wide sales topped $93 million for the past fiscal year, marking a 9% increase over last year’s totals. The increase marked the seventh consecutive year Jazzercise has posted system wide sales growth, including company divisions of Jazzertogs fitness apparel and award-winning JM DigitalWorks. Jazzercise has more than 7,500 instructors teaching 32,000 classes weekly in all 50 states and 32 countries worldwide.
Founded by President/CEO Judi Sheppard Missett, Jazzercise ranks second on the San Diego Business Journal’s list of San Diego County women-owned businesses and 21st on its list of top private companies in San Diego County (ranked according to 2007 gross revenue).
