EFT HOLDS Effective immediately, corporate office has notified all franchisees that EFT "holds" can only be placed for medical reasons -- from one (1) month up to a maximum of three (3) months. They are no longer allowing franchisees to place "holds" for other reasons such as vacation, work schedule changes or other non-medical reasons students have given in the past. The new policy is still more flexible than membership at a Gym and EFT is still your BEST DEAL. Like membership at a Gym, the more classes you attend, the more value you get for your money. You have the opportunity to attend 5 classes a week -- it's up to YOU to take advantage of the opportunity to get the most "bang for your buck".

AIEA CLASS SCHEDULE CHANGES - Beginning June 1st, we will no longer have classes on Monday at Aiea. Aiea's class schedule will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings. Please see your class news page (under class info tab) for details. Beginning JULY 1, Thursday classes will start at 6:30 p.m. Hooray! That should give many of you more time to get to class.

HEADS UP! - Pearl City Class - NO CLASS on Wednesday July 16th.


The American Heart Association is having their annual Heart Walk on Saturday, August 16th. The walk starts at 7:30 a.m. at Kapiolani Park. Saturday classes will be closed that day to give you the opportunity to participate in the walk. I encourage all of you to sign up and register for the 4.5 mile walk which would be the equivalent of coming to class. Go to www.oahuheartwalk.org to register and/or make a donation. Remember to select Jazzercise as your Team/Organization. We can all meet and walk together. Wear RED and support the cause! Note: Jazzertogs has a Red top on sale for $19.99, item #3945J. PERSONAL TOUCH BY JAZZERCISE! What is Personal Touch by Jazzercise? It is personalized training from your instructor on various Jazzercise moves to help tone & sculpt your body. Class sessions are limited to 10 students and will be held periodically throughout the year.


Do you LOVE Jazzercise? Are you interested in becoming an instructor? Like any career it takes time, hard work, and dedication, but most importantly it gives you the opportunity to do something you LOVE to do - Jazzercise! Being an instructor also allows you to motivate and encourage others to get fit and stay healthy. It's a very rewarding experience. If you are interested in looking into the possibility of becoming an instructor please be sure to pick up a brochure at the registration table entitled, "Exercise your Entrepreneurship". The brochure will give you some preliminary information and will also give you answers to frequently asked questions. If you are interested in attending a movement screening workshop, I encourage you to come and see me.
